Heights Club Clothing
We have a range of club clothing, leotards and footwear, with links to our suppliers below.
Clothing Policy
Gymnasts should wear a suitable leotard for training, fitted shorts or leggings may be worn over a leotard, along with a club training tee. A club hoodie or fleece may be worn during warm ups or while waiting between activities, particularly when the hall is cold.
For safety, please ensure:
- Long hair is securely tied back and jewellery is removed.
- Loose clothing, jeans and clothing with sharp edges or fittings are avoided, as these may interfere with activities or damage equipment.
If a coach considers a gymnast’s clothing unsuitable, they may be unable to take part in certain activities or the session for safety reasons.
Club clothing
Our club range is supplied by Blue Blood Sports and includes tees, hoodies and fleeces. Purple is typically worn for gymnastics and navy for trampolining, but either colour may be worn for training in either discipline.
Tees are optional and may be worn over a leotard. Hoodies and fleeces are useful for warming up and waiting between activities.
T shirts and hoodies can also be personalised with your initials for an additional charge. Choose the personalisation option when ordering through the webshop.
Orders usually take 3 to 5 weeks.
Which training tee should I choose?
Both tees are suitable for training. The main difference is the fabric and how it feels during an active session.
COOL TEE
Technical sports tee
Lightweight and quick drying. The technical fabric helps move moisture away from the skin, so this is the best choice for energetic sessions and gymnasts who get hot while training.
COTTON TRAINING SHIRT
Traditional cotton T shirt
Soft and comfortable with the feel of an everyday T shirt. It is suitable for general training and casual wear, but cotton absorbs more moisture and takes longer to dry.
Leotards
Why do gymnasts need to wear a leotard?
Leotards are designed to allow freedom of movement while providing a comfortable and secure fit. During gymnastics and trampolining, activities such as jumping, rolling and being upside down can cause loose clothing to lift or move out of place. A leotard helps gymnasts remain comfortably and appropriately covered, reduces the risk of clothing catching on equipment and allows coaches to observe body positioning more clearly.
New gymnasts are welcome to start in suitable PE type clothing, so there is no need to purchase specialist clothing before their first class. We recommend obtaining a suitable leotard within the first few lessons as the gymnast settles into regular training.
Club Leotards
We have selected a range of leotards from The Zone as our club designs. These are optional, and gymnasts are welcome to wear any other suitable leotard they already own.
For girls and ladies, our selected design is the Tiara, available in sleeveless and long sleeve styles. Navy is typically worn for trampolining and purple (Grape) for gymnastics, although either colour may be worn for recreational training.
For boys and men, our selected design is the sleeveless Ace leotard.

Gymnastics and Acro
